Neurophysiology and neuroimaging insights into cognitive deficits in sleep disorders and neurodegenerative disease. Using high-density electroencephalography (EEG) to examine how altered brain activity during sleep may be risk factors for cognitive impairment and neurodegeneration. Investigating interventions for optimizing sleep brain activity to restore normal sleeping patterns and improve sleep-dependent cognitive processes.
