About Professor Claire Wade

Professor Wade's research passion is in the Medical and Behavioural Genetics group focuses on the analysis of genome-wide data from companion animal species. She is interested in the genomic changes that underpin traits related to behaviour, health, welfare and performance through the application of big-data technologies. Recent work explores the genomics of anxiety, cognition and vocalisation in dogs. We have a number of projects that related to complex inherited diseases and traits in companion animals.
