LGBTQI cancer care: a mixed-method study

A study to understand how to better support LGBTQI inclusive practices in cancer care.

Are you a cancer care professional based in Australia or New Zealand?

Researchers from The University of Sydney are conducting a study to explore the experiences of cancer healthcare professionals communicating with people identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or intersex (LGBTQI) about sexual concerns. This study will enable us to understand how to better support LGBTQI inclusive practices in cancer care.

We are asking you to help us with this research by doing our online survey about your knowledge, perceptions, and experiences with LGBTQI healthcare in cancer care and any suggestions about how care could be improved.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • are a healthcare professional working in Australia or New Zealand;
