Atrial Fibrillation Device trial

A study trialling the use of a smart device to help detect and prevent stroke and heart attack

Screening community base research program to detect atrial fibrillation as a means to prevent stroke and heart attack.

The study uses a mobile smart device that measures the heart rhythm daily.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are above 75 years of age
  • Are living in community.
  • Have no implantable heart device.
  • Have no previous diagnosis of atrial fibrillation.
