Exploring the effect of cannabidiol on chronic pain following spinal cord injury

A randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled cross-over pilot trial exploring the effect of cannabidiol on chronic pain following spinal cord injury

We invite individuals who have experienced a spinal cord injury to help us study the impact of a potential new therapy and to understand the causes of ongoing pain.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are over 18 years
  • Have a spinal cord injury
  • Do have ongoing pain
  • Are willing to provide a small blood sample
  • Are willing to be exposed to brief painful stimulus
  • Are willing to attend the NeuRA facility to undergo an MRI and EEG
