Social connection and its effect on health

Does a sense of belonging benefit your health?
This study will look at experiences of feeling socially connected, belonging and loneliness in people living with a long-term health condition.

Researchers at Sydney University, the University of New South Wales and La Trobe University, want to hear the experiences of feeling socially connected, belonging and loneliness in people living with a long-term health condition.

We are interested in speaking to people who are over 18 years of age; have been diagnosed with a long-term physical health condition and who would like to share their story.

If you are interested in taking part, we would like to interview you for about an hour on your experiences of health, social relationships and supports. We will ask to interview you on another two occasions in the next 6 months.

If you choose to participate, you will be reimbursed in recognition of your time.
