Mental health-related knowledge, stigmas and intentions toward seeking online and face-to-face help: A cross-cultural study of chinese university students

We are seeking Chinese-speaking background or ancestry students to participate in a study of mental health-related stigmas and intention to seek help for online & face-to-face mental health support.

The study involves an anonymous online survey. You will be asked to complete a series of short questionnaires about basic demographics, mental health-related knowledge, stigmas, and intentions to seek help.

The entire study will take no more than 20 minutes to complete. You may choose to enter a draw to win one of ten gift cards upon completion of the study to reimburse you for your time.

All your responses are completely confidential and are not shared with your University or Faculty.


You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have Chinese-speaking background or Chinese ancestry
  • Are currently enrolled in an Australian university
  • Have reliable internet access
