Moral reasoning from new perspectives

This study examines whether knowing cultural context affects how people make judgements about moral scenarios.

As modern societies become increasingly multi-cultural, it is important to investigate how we judge the moral actions of people from other cultures.

The study also examines whether the type of scenario, or individual differences, affect the judgement being made. In this study, you will be presented with a series of scenarios, and asked to decide whether the action performed by a protagonist was the right thing to do. You will also be assessed on your ethical beliefs, and on your logical reasoning ability.

The study involves completing an online questionnaire on an internet-enabled computer. The questionnaire takes 20-30 minutes to complete.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • are between 18 - 65 years of age
  • are proficient in English¬†
