New insomnia treatment study

Do you have insomnia? Do you want better sleep at night and better concentration during the day?

At the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research we are trialling a behavioural intervention with a short script of a new medication to improve sleep and daytime performance.

You will have access to a Psychologist and Sleep Physician for the duration of the study.

The Bellberry Human Research Ethics Committee has reviewed and approved this study (Protocol number 2016-02-104) in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007) incorporating all updates. Australia and New Zealand Clinical Trials Registry number 12614001293651. Chief Investigator: Associate Professor Brendon Yee.


You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Have Insomnia
  • Never previously treated with cognitive behavioural therapy or armodafinil
  • At least one month hypnotic free and willing to not take hypnotics for the duration of the trial.
