Understand your portion size - validation of an online portion size assessment tool

The term ‘portion size norm’ refers to the perception of how much people choose to eat at one eating occasion. Portion size norm has been found to play a key role in food intake behaviours.

You are invited to take part in a research study which aims to develop a new online tool to understand the portion size norms in our population. If you wish to participate, it will involve attending a 30-min laboratory session on the University of Sydney Camperdown campus to report the portion sizes you would normally consume.

Eligibility

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are aged between 18-65 years
  • Are able to understand and converse in English
