Minor

Business analytics is concerned with the fast-growing areas of online analytics, customer analytics, and business intelligence. It involves extracting, summarising and applying information from rich data sets readily available in today's business environment to enable better decision making based on quantitative information and models.

Our Business Analytics minor has an applied focus. You will deal with actual business data and use tools to take a structured approach to problem-solving and optimal decision making. You will learn to analyse business data accurately and scientifically to provide real, practical insights.

We offer a range of subject options to suit all interests, whether you want to learn data-analysis skills for business modelling and decision making or have a general interest in how businesses can analyse their operations. These skills will also enhance and complement your employability when combined with other areas of study in business.

Businesses today are drowning in data and information. With a current shortage of expert quantitative analysts, your skills will be in high demand.
