Minor

Business law focuses on the legal and regulatory framework within which business operates. You will acquire essential problem-solving and analytical skills, and learn how to recognise situations that require specialist legal advice.

Our business law minor is anchored in real-world issues with a strong emphasis on the legal hurdles you are likely to encounter in business. It provides a solid foundation for understanding the impact of the law on general business practice.

You will receive an introduction to business law as well as in-depth specialisation in some key areas: corporation law, securities and deviations law, finance and banking, taxation, insolvency, employment, corporate crime, trade practices and consumer law.

The curriculum is constantly updated to take into account new cases and changing legislation, regulation and business practices.
