Our Biomedical Modelling and Design specialisation is designed to enhance your skills in developing computational models while also teaching you both fundamental mechanics and engineering design principles.

Graduate opportunities

As a graduate of our Biomedical Modelling and Design specialisation, you will have the technical proficiency to design and develop medical implants and devices including knee and hip joint replacements, surgical devices, braces, and orthopaedic and dental screws and plates.

You may pursue a career developing medical implants and devices as part of the multibillion-dollar global orthopaedic and dental devices industry.
