Whether you’d like to make the next ag-tech breakthrough that contributes to the health of the planet and its people, strengthen food security, or sustain the world’s natural resources and biodiversity, studying animal- and crop-based agricultural science will give you the knowledge and skills you need to make it happen.

You can choose a specialist agriculture and food degree, or choose to undertake an agriculture and food related program, major, minor, or electives within one of our other degrees.

Agriculture and food courses

  • Bachelor of Agricultural Science: A three-year agriculture degree that builds your knowledge in four key areas: plant production, animal production, soil science and hydrology, and agribusiness. 
  • Bachelor of Agricultural Science Honours: A four-year agriculture degree that builds your knowledge in four key areas: plant production, animal production, soil science and hydrology, and agribusiness.
