International student tuition fees

International student tuition fees vary between courses and the year in which you study. This page provides a high-level guide to the tuition fees for each area of study.

How to understand tuition fees

Depending on the calendar year in which you undertake your study, and if your study load is more or less than the 1.0 EFTSL, your tuition fee will differ from the indicative amount.

It is important to note that the tuition fees on this page are:

  • listed in a range, as fees vary by course. This is intended to provide a high level guide, and you must refer to your course page for specific and accurate course fees.
  • quoted in Australian dollars
  • based on a full-time student enrolment load of 48 credit points per year, or 1.0 Equivalent Full-Time Student Load (1.0 EFTSL)
  • only for the year listed – see annual review and fee increases

Payment schedule

Paying your deposit

When you are offered a place to study with us, you will be required to pay a deposit equal to your first semester of tuition fees.

In most cases, this will be approximately 50 percent of the annual tuition fee cost.

The deposit will formally secure your place and allow you to apply for a visa. The exact amount will be confirmed in your letter of offer.

Paying more than the required amount

When accepting your offer and paying your deposit fee, you may pay more than the amount quoted on the offer letter towards your future semester tuition fees.

Please note the following:

  • Extra payments can only be made by particular methods, such as international bank transfer payments (Western Union or HSBC), or by an Australian bank account (BPAY).
  • Once paid, the payment will need to remain in your student fee account, where it will be automatically applied towards future semester enrolments.

Paying for each semester

After you commence your degree, you will need to pay your fees before the start of each semester.

For further information, visit payment dates.

You will be able to access your financial statement after your enrolment is finalised.

Payments must be completed by the due date to avoid enrolment sanctions.

How to pay

We accept a number of payment methods. Please note that credit card surcharges (pdf, 97KB) apply.
