If you're completing the first three years of the BA/BSW, you can undertake your units remotely. If you're entering the fourth year of your BA/BSW in 2021, you need to be on-campus before the start of Semester 2 2020; if this is not possible, you need to suspend your studies for Semester 2 2021.

Offshore students are allowed to receive an RI for one professional experience. You need to enrol in the CC (Camperdown/Darlington) version of the unit in 2021, but complete your professional experience by February 2022 in order to progress in your degree.

If you're a single degree student, you are allowed to engage in year 1 and 2 units remotely. Year 3 offshore students may complete Semester 1 2021 online but must be in-person for their placement in Semester 2. Otherwise, you should email ssesw.enquiries@sydney.edu.au in order to get further advice closer to Semester 2.

Studio units of study, Art History and most of electives are available to study remotely. Some electives and areas of emphasis within Studio units of study are available face-to-face only, due to the requirement to undertake technical instruction using specialised workshop facilities. If you wish to study a unit of study that is available face-to-face only, you can either contact SCA at sca.enquiries@sydney.edu.au for advice on changing the order of the degree or find an overseas exchange partner in your home country and apply for credit.

You are allowed to receive an RI for one professional experience. First year offshore students (in 2021) can enrol in SCWK5004 Practice Learning 1 (CC) in Semester 2 2021 but must complete their field education by February 2022 in order to progress in their degree. Otherwise, you need to request for a modified candidature in 2021, which will result in delays in graduation.
