If you applied for a higher degree by research (HDR) course, you may have been offered a place under the Research Training Program (RTP).
This means that the Australian Government funds your research via a tuition fee offset scholarship called RTP Fee Offset. You won’t receive any fee notices, as your fees will be covered automatically by this offset.
This can be up to a maximum of four years full-time equivalent study for a doctorate by research and two years of full-time equivalent study for a master’s degree by research.
RTP students may be enrolled full time or part time.
Each year we’ll send you an email outlining the level of support that the Australian Government has provided to the University through the RTP Fee Offset. This amount is for your reference only and does not require payment.
As a research student, it's also worth checking out our research scholarships.
As a precaution, we’re currently closed for in-person enquiries.
