We’re aware of a scam where companies are offering ‘discounted fees’ if they pay their tuition fees for this semester through them. We’ve also received reports of these companies offering further discounts to students if they recruit other students.

The University of Sydney would never offer you a discount on your fees via text, through social media or an email address not ending in '@sydney.edu.au', nor offer you discounts to recruit other students. We will also never ask you to pay your fees by clicking on a link in an email, text message or social media.

All official University communications will come from an email ending in '@sydney.edu.au' or via the notifications in myUni or the Sydney Uni app.
