Health and wellbeing

New 24/7 counselling service for international students

International students currently enrolled and studying in China, India, Myanmar, Singapore, and Hong Kong, can now engage in confidential single-session counselling.

The service is free, 24/7, multi-language, and available by phone or zoom. You will be asked to provide your University, name and contact number. If you have any questions about this service please contact the Peer Support Advisors or Student Life Coordinators.

How to: Understand the Power of a Dumpling

Join Wai Chim as she discusses her move to Australia to enjoy the sun and to pursue her passion for writing. She will discuss her highs and lows and the amazing experiences she has had along the way. Wai Chim is the author of a number of children's and young adult titles, including the award-winning YA, The Surprising Power of a Good Dumpling. Most recently, Wai was a contestant on Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn.

Wellness Week 2021

Join us online for Wellness Week, where we will be hosting events to help improve your wellbeing. Across three days, come along to enjoy Morning Movement sessions, Bullet Journaling for Self Care, Mindful Sketching and much more!

Mindfulness sessions online

Step away from your books, and join an online mindfulness session

Available twice a week during the semester. Learn and practice techniques with a facilitator and other like-minded students and make the practice a regular part of your study schedule. Join the mindfulness sessions group.
