During the COVID-19 pandemic there are travel bans in place that may make it impossible for you to attend classes in person. The University is committed to providing online classes to students who find themselves in this situation. If you are unable to attend classes on campus, rest assured we will allocate you a timetable with only online classes. Some classes may be broadcast online.
If you would like to change your classes to be online only, we encourage you to first try and change your timetable on the personal timetable website. Find out how to change your timetable. Make sure you check which classes are online by visiting the 2020 Unit of Study Timetables page, and selecting the unit of study to view which classes (and their codes) are offered online and which are offered on-campus.
If you are unable to change your timetable so all your classes are online, you should submit a request for assistance. Select 'COVID-19 Travel Ban' from the special circumstances drop down menu. You will need to provide a short description of your circumstances, including where you are located and which class you need to have changed. Be aware, it may take some time for us to process these requests but rest assured they will be processed.
While your request is being processed, make sure you check Canvas for learning materials and any instructions from your unit of study coordinator about what to do if you are still allocated to an on campus class when classes start.
