Studiosity

We’ve teamed up with Studiosity to provide you with free online tutoring! Through Studiosity, you will receive 24/7 access to the following services at no cost.

  • Connect Live: Ask a question and get immediate help via typed or the new audio live chat across core subjects (English, Maths and Science).
  • Writing Feedback: Upload any written document and receive feedback that helps you think about and review your work.
  • Practice Tests: Access over 750 practice tests and downloadable worksheets within your Studiosity account. These quizzes are available across English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Sample quizzes can be found online.

Prep for USYD

Join us for the first webinar of our series where we will cover everything you need to know about getting your application ready for the University of Sydney. Looking at a timeline that covers the rest of the year, we’ll dive into how to apply, UAC and preferencing, entry requirements and admission pathways, fees and costs, financial support and scholarships and other factors to consider throughout the year.

You will also hear from current students who will share their stories on how they prepared to study at the University of Sydney.

Transitioning to USYD

Whether you’re from a regional area, are the first in your family to attend uni, or are just unsure of what to expect, join us to hear from current students who have transitioned to the University of Sydney. From where to live and eat, to meeting friends, to accessing support services on campus, you’ll find out what uni is really like. Students will share their tips, tricks, and practical things to do to ensure a smooth transition to uni.

There are many accommodation options for domestic students on and around campus. This webinar presents the different accommodation options from university-owned residences, and colleges, to private providers, and looks at private options outside the University. The webinar covers features and facilities, costs, scholarships, how and when to apply, plus all the fun stuff you can expect living on campus.

Money matters

Money matters – especially when you are studying. In this webinar, you’ll learn about the costs associated with Uni, how to budget, and the financial support available to help you throughout your studies. Learn tips and tricks from our students so you can manage your money, balance a job while studying, and be successful at university.

We’ll cover:

  • Fees – what you pay, how and when,
  • Financial support at uni – scholarships, bursaries, and HECS-HELP,
  • Cost of living – accommodation, food, bills, other expenses,
  • How to budget, track and manage your money,
  • Getting a part-time job, and balancing work, studies, and your social life.

HSC CCE prep courses 

Success in your HSC exams is all about being well prepared, so our Centre of Continuing Education has designed an all-new program of free online HSC preparation courses led by a team of highly experienced educators. Each intensive course will consolidate your school studies and give you critical subject matter knowledge. You’ll also learn how to improve your exam technique to give you a valuable edge over the competition. Places are limited to one course per person.
