How to use the Global Mobility Database
Welcome to the Global Mobility Database where you can search and apply for global experiences during your course at the University of Sydney. This portal is managed by Sydney Abroad, the University’s study abroad and exchange team that is here to help you make the world your campus.
You will find different the global experiences available including information about the destinations, partner universities, application details and deadlines. There are also the latest details about upcoming information sessions and scholarships & funding options.
Types of programs
There are many types of global experiences available to students during their studies. Most of the programs on the Global Mobility Database are:- Semester/year-long exchange programs to partner universities, or
- Short-term programs (exchange and non-exchange) completed over the summer (December - February) or winter (June - August) break.
Search programs
The Global Mobility Databases stores all the study abroad and exchange programs currently available. Use the Program Discovery to search all the programs by destination, program type, host city, partner university, subject areas and more.The University of Sydney aims to provide accurate program information at all times, however, we reserve the right to temporarily suspend programs or not renew agreements without prior notice. In the event of this, your Exchange Adviser will assist in the placement of exchange applicants at other suitable destinations. New programs may also be added from time to time. You are advised to double check destination availability, program conditions and other eligibility and selection criteria before proceeding with your application.
