There’s a lot of consider when selecting your preferences, but we’re here to help. We have answered your frequently asked questions about Guaranteed Entry, so you understand what's required to be offered a guaranteed place.
Short answer: A confirmed place in an eligible degree.
Guaranteed Entry gives you a confirmed place in an eligible degree if you achieve the required selection rank (ATAR + adjustments) and meet any other admissions criteria. This gives you the confidence to select a course and know that you will receive an offer if you meet the selection rank and other admission criteria.
Short answer: It depends.
If you don’t meet the guaranteed selection rank, you may still be eligible to receive an offer. Whilst the guaranteed selection rank means if you have achieved this rank (and any other admission criteria), you can be confident you are eligible for an offer, we may still make offers below the guaranteed selection rank depending on places available.
Short answer: Depends on the course you want to do.
Many of our courses require you to meet other essential admission criteria (e.g. mathematics prerequisite, audition/portfolio). You can check the course page for further information.
