Word and EndNote Workshop

Making your writing and referencing software work for you
If you can write and submit a piece of research with all your citations in the correct place, you probably know how to use Word, and maybe even EndNote – right? Wrong! It’s one thing to use writing and referencing software, it’s another thing to use it well.

Who: Postgraduate research students and academics with interests in Southeast Asia
When: Thursday 3 March 2022, from 14:30-16:00 (AEDT)
Where: Online via Zoom

In this 90-minute intensive workshop, Professor Michele Ford will introduce you to dozens of tips, tricks and shortcuts in both Word and EndNote. Hidden in plain sight, these research hacks will save you hours in the long-term by helping you minimise the amount of time spent formatting, fixing and faffing.

Note:

This workshop is suitable for PC users. We expect that you are already well acquainted with Word and EndNote. It is strongly recommended that you familiarise yourself with the University of Sydney’s “EndNote: Getting Started” page, including videos, prior to the workshop. If you are completely new to EndNote, you may wish to enrol in the Library Workshop on 1 March 2022.

Eligibility:

This workshop is open to postgraduate students and academics of all levels who are working on Southeast Asia. You must be a SSEAC member to attend – sign up here.
