The unit will focus on collaborative composition and collective artistry for sound design including network music performance. This unit specialisation will encourage students to work in groups to gain insight in curating sound-based projects addressing issues in cultural and environmental sustainability. Students will integrate their individual skills and expertise as composers, producers, and sound designers to contribute to a collective artistic vision within a diverse and evolving global creative landscape. Students will experiment with new technologies and techniques together to push the boundaries of collective artistry and network-based digital music composition, with an emphasis on effective collaboration workflow and communication skills.
