Students in this unit will learn advanced composition techniques from members of the composition and music technology discipline area of the SCM. They will study music by the presenting staff and music by other composers that also use the techniques being presented. Students will then write their own music using these techniques, putting what they have learned into practice and getting feedback on their work both from composition and music technology academics, and their peers.
