Unit of study_

CPNO1602: Collaborative Piano 2

2026 unit information

This subject builds on the skills developed in CPNO1601. Students will be introduced to orchestral reductions to deepen their understanding of how piano parts relate to full orchestral scores. Each student will be assigned to a vocal studio, playing for weekly voice lessons and preparing a performance with the singer for the end of the semester. Students will also work toward two masterclasses that focus on both vocal and instrumental repertoire.
