An introduction to professional practice unit covering the scope, contexts, and range of practice in speech pathology working with individuals, families and communities. Students are introduced to ethics, the Code of Conduct, professional communication, reciprocal learning, reflective practice, and family- and person-centred practice. Working with First Nations communities will be of particular focus of this unit.
