Students will develop knowledge and skills to assess and diagnose dysphagia and paediatric feeding difficulties, and provide interventions to optimise health, mealtime participation, and quality of life across the lifespan. Students will critically evaluate and reflect on the cultural, ethical, and moral issues that influence decision-making and behaviours of individuals and families and learn to apply culturally responsive and person/family centred practices when working to optimise feeding and swallowing in individuals.
