This unit aims to provide students at the postgraduate level details of evidence-based information on implant treatment planning and clinical decision-making. The student will learn to search and critically appraise the literature on a topic related to implant treatment planning.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO1. demonstrate an emerging knowledge of evidence-based information in relation to implant treatment planning
  • LO2. search the literature on specific topics
  • LO3. critically appraisal of the available literature
  • LO4. critically analyse the literature using PICO analysis
  • LO5. learn about a specific treatment planning topic assigned to the student.
