This unit of study investigates burning issues, research and methodological breakthroughs and horizons in education. The unit invites students to critically engage with research studies that have proven to be enduring or impactful in sub-fields of history, philosophy, sociology and psychology of education. Through this unit of study, students will gain an understanding of why past research has been constituted as groundbreaking. The unit will also explore how particular researchers and their studies impact and shape the research that follows them.
