EDUP4090: Professional Engagement Final Practice

2026 unit information

This unit plays a significant role in supporting preservice teachers to transition to early career teachers. Pre-service teachers will extend their understanding of theory and research to make connections between teaching and learning, to support informed pedagogical decision-making. This includes the effective use of data as evidence to inform practice to support student learning. It supports reflection on professional practice, identifying significant areas for reflective inquiry to make connections between research, theory and practice into assessment practices. Students undertaking a Primary Specialisation pathway will complete the final in-school requirements for their specialisation.
