In this Unit of Study students will further develop musical ideas and technical skills to play Classical and Romantic repertoire on 18th- and 19th-century fortepianos in an advanced chosen program of study. There is a strong focus on historical and stylistic awareness through research, discussion, and application, and students will also develop strategies to be self-correcting within practice.
