IMPR4008: Improvised Music Ensemble 8
2024 unit information
Improvised Ensemble 8 is a project based weekly group improvisation session. In this unit students prepare and perform a series of three performances of improvised music. Each performance can revisit venues the students have previously performed at in their SPW projects of years 1-3. Students will engage with the specific venue subjects - exhibition, history, culture. Students will be required to collaborate in project themes that are associated the specific venue subjects and participate in group decision making and experimental creativity.

- LO2. Create processes for improvisation using clearly defined material, structures and locations
- LO3. Lead and direct an improvising ensemble
- LO4. Work as an active participant in a collaborative, group-based creative process
