INTM5001: Internal Medicine Advanced Management

This Capstone unit of study will assist students in developing the qualities of an effective physician. The Unit will begin with a focus on advanced management of patients with complex clinical needs. From here, the Unit will cover critical non-clinical skills including ethical practice, teaching and leadership, and professional development. Finally, the Unit will guide students in the role of research in internal medicine, and deliver updates on cutting-edge innovations from experienced clinical researchers.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO8. describe strategies for coping with work-related stress.
