Honours in LIFE Sciences is a one year 36 credit point research project that can be in any of the disciplines of Biology, Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Genetics and Genomics, Microbiology or Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. The unit builds on theoretical and applied knowledge gained across units of study undertaken throughout a cognate major within a degree program. This unit is a corequisite with LIFE4103 in the first semester of Honours. Subject to when students elect to do their course work units students may also enrol in either one or both of LIFE4105 and LIFE4106 in their first semester of Honours. During the honours year students will also complete two 6-credit point honours and advanced coursework units to design your training. The final research project units students enrol in during their final semester are LIFE4107, LIFE4108 and SCIE4999.
