2023 unit information

By the end of the course, students will be expected to have made adequate and appropriate progress on their MD Research Project, and to have mastered core concepts in Information Literacy, Research Methods and EBM. Students' participation and performance in all academic tasks required in this unit of study must be graded as 'satisfactory' in order to progress to Semester 2, Stage 3, Year3.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO1. Produce a progress report that shows their project is advancing towards completion
  • LO2. Prepare a structured literature search for a medical problem
  • LO3. Evaluate clinical information and medical literature to form the basis of clinical decision making
