The unit provides an introductory understanding of key research methods and practices relevant to media and communications via 'clusters' such as literary and investigative journalism, public relations, multimedia, audio and research essays. Students will write a research essay and a proposal for a major media project, which they will complete in semester two as part of MECO3609.
