2024 unit information
Students continue to explore ensemble repertoire appropriate to their development, with an emphasis on the development of technical dance and acting skills in a range of styles, musical skills and ensemble communication in rehearsal and performance. Students apply these skills in a final performance while reflecting on their own and peers' work, demonstrating technical dance, acting and ensemble in performance skills.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:
- LO1. Identify and describe the embodiment techniques used in performing onstage
- LO2. Apply acting and movement principles as described in class to a curated ensemble performance.
- LO3. Express ensemble behaviours that model inclusivity, listening and responding skills, as well as creative and innovative responses to stimuli provided in practical classes.
- LO4. Produce and embody improvisatory artistic work of semiotic meaning and significance, through weekly acting and dance figures
- LO5. Evaluate the work of others with reference to the taught materials, including enabling others through thoughtful and strengths-based feedback
