At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

- LO2. Describe the mechanisms of transcription and its regulation
- LO3. Recognise and interpret the molecular processes of cell division
- LO4. Describe the function of cellular organelles and macromolecular structures
- LO5. Explain experimental methodologies for interrogating molecular biology of the cell
- LO6. Apply scientific methodologies to address biological questions
- LO7. Critically analyse and present scientific studies in written and verbal form
