At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:
- LO1. Develop an understanding of the cultural context of Australian, New Zealand, and Asia-Pacific literature
- LO2. Develop critical analysis, reading and writing skills
- LO3. Develop an understanding of postcolonial concepts and theories, and apply these to literary texts
- LO4. Develop an understanding of the concepts of race, diaspora, indigeneity, multiculturalism, nationalism and national identity and their relevance to Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific
