At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO1. Show an understanding of the principal figurings and symbols commonly encountered in a figured bass;
  • LO2. Deliver a coherent and stylistically convincing accompaniment to a recitative and aria by G.Ph.Telemann, J.S. Bach and others.
  • LO3. Demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the unit
