This unit of study follows on from PHAR5915 (Preparing for Practice A). Students continue to prepare for practice in the pharmacy profession by attending a 10-week block (four days a week) of work-integrated learning. As per Semester 1, students will have the opportunity to reflect, consolidate and complement their learnings from a real-life pharmacy setting during the integrated coursework component of this unit of study while preparing them for the registration exams. In the latter half of the semester, this unit also extends the skills of students in providing specific professional pharmacy services which are emerging within the profession. This includes training to become a Medication Management Review (MMR) pharmacist and Aged Care On-Site Pharmacist (ACOP).
