This unit is the second of two capstone units. Students will complete a supervised research-based or professionally focused project. Students will work closely with their supervisor who will guide them in undertaking their project and writing a project report in the style of a journal article or professional report. Students will learn a broad range of skills related to research and quality improvement projects, including developing skills in advanced clinical reasoning, critical thinking and innovation, along with written and oral communication and presentation skills. The unit will culminate with a student-led showcase event where students will present their projects to peers and staff.
