In this unit students undertake a period of supervised research in a topic in Veterinary Science.

At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

LO1. apply appropriate research methods to data collection and analysis
LO2. deliver and defend research outcomes (both written and oral)
LO3. develop an appreciation of student and research supervisor interactions and management
LO4. develop an appreciation of the research process, the management of research projects, research culture and an insight into research as a potential career direction
LO5. demonstrate an extended commitment to learning and research
LO6. demonstrate a commitment and an ability to conduct research in an ethical manner.
