At the completion of this unit, you should be able to:

  • LO1. apply appropriate research methods to data collection and analysis
  • LO2. deliver and defend research outcomes (both written and oral)
  • LO3. develop an appreciation of student and research supervisor interactions and management
  • LO4. develop an appreciation of the research process, the management of research projects, research culture and an insight into research as a potential career direction
  • LO5. demonstrate an extended commitment to learning and research
  • LO6. demonstrate a commitment and an ability to conduct research in an ethical manner.
