TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. By entering this competition (Competition), entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions). Information on how to enter forms part of these Terms and Conditions..

2. To enter the Competition, participants must complete a short survey and provide their name and email address. All valid entries will be entered into a random draw to win one of four $250 (AUD) digital MasterCard gift cards from giftcardstore.com.au.

3. The Competition is conducted by The University of Sydney (ABN 15 211 513 464, CRICOS Number 00026A (the Promoter) .

4. The Promoter may amend or replace these Terms and Conditions and at any time in its sole discretion.

5. The Competition opens at 9:00am AEST on Monday, 9 June 2025 and closes at 10am AEST on Friday, 11 July 2025 (Competition Period).

6. Entry is open to The University of Sydney alumni who have been invited to complete the survey . Immediate families of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Competition are not eligible to enter the Competition.

7. Entrants must provide a valid name and email address. It is the entrant’s responsibility to keep their contact details up to date during and after the Competition Period.

8. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

9. The Competition is a game of chance. Four winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries on Friday, 18 July 2025. The decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

10. Winners will be notified by email on Friday, 18 July 2025 using the contact details provided in their entry.

11. The prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash. Each gift card is subject to the expiry date and terms specified by the issuer.

12. The Promoter is not responsible for late, lost or incomplete entries, or for any issues that prevent a winner from receiving or using their prize.

13. Winners must claim their prize by replying to the Promoter’s notification email, by 12:00pm AEST on Friday, 25 July 2025. Prizes will be distributed via email by Friday, 1 August 2025.

14. If a prize is unclaimed by Friday, 8 August 2025, a new winner will be randomly selected.

15. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or substitute the prizes. In such cases, the Promoter is not liable for any resulting costs or losses.

16. The Promoter is responsible for all decisions regarding the Competition, including eligibility, entry validity, and prize distribution. All decisions are final..

17. If the Competition cannot proceed as planned, due to tampering, technical issues, or other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Competition and disqualify any individual involved in the tampering.

18. The Promoter is not responsible for any technical or human errors, including those caused by website users, equipment or programming that may affect the administration or integrity of the Competition.

19. Except where liability cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, personal injury or illness arising from participation in the Competition or use of the prizes.

20. Personal information collected will be used solely for the purposes of promoting and conducting the Competition and awarding the prizes. By entering the Competition, participants consent to the use of their personal information for this purpose. Entrants may request access to or correction of their personal information by contacting the Promoter at business.brand@sydney.edu.au.

21. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with the Competition will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
