If you are a qualified engineer and looking to strengthen your management capability and technical knowledge, this is the ideal course for you. Or perhaps you want to update your engineering skills or specialise in a particular area linked to your job or career aspirations.
The Master of Engineering allows you to build on your existing engineering undergraduate degree by developing specialised technical knowledge in one of 13 engineering specialisations:
Master of Engineering (Biomedical Engineering)
Master of Engineering (Civil Engineering)
Master of Engineering (Electrical Engineering)
Master of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
Your prior qualifications or in some cases, work experience, may enable you to reduce the number of credit points required to complete your degree.

This three-year full time degree will provide you with the engineering professional practice and research skills that lead to recognition as an Australian graduate engineer. Your qualifications will also be recognised internationally through the Washington Accord of the International Engineering Alliance.
The Master of Professional Engineering will help you to develop the sound communications, management and decision-making capabilities necessary to interpret and discuss complex issues in your chosen area of specialisation.

For those with an undergraduate engineering degree seeking accreditation in a related field, please consider the Master of Professional Engineering (Accelerated).
This two-year full time accelerated version of our Master of Professional Engineering degree is available to prospective students seeking accreditation who have previously graduated with an undergraduate engineering degree in a related field.
Our Master of Professional Engineering (Accelerated) degree is designed to provide you with the technical skills and sound communications, management and decision-making capabilities necessary to interpret and discuss complex issues in your chosen area of specialisation.
