Using this handbook

Engineers and Computing professionals are crucial to the improvement of human capabilities through their ability to devise innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions to a broad range of modern problems. These solutions could be engineering the tools for the next amazing scientific discovery; making space transportation viable; making solar power economical; designing biomedical device interfaces; securing cyberspace; enhancing our living environments; providing access to clean water or restoring, supporting mining and construction projects and improving urban infrastructure.

To support entry into and through to specialist training for these professions, the Faculty of Engineering runs undergraduate degree programs in Engineering, Computing, and Project Management. The faculty offers both coursework and research based programs. Details of the course structure for all these degrees and detailed course rules are shown in this handbook.
