 Learning outcome
Synthesise advanced theory, knowledge, and technical skills in the mathematical sciences
Investigate and critically analyse complex mathematical or statistical problems, and apply advanced research principles to formulate appropriate evidence-based solutions
Communicate advanced mathematical or statistical knowledge, skills, research findings, and evidence-based solutions effectively in written, visual, and verbal modes to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
Work responsibly both independently and with others, demonstrating autonomy, sound judgement, adaptability, and ethical responsibility as a practitioner, learner, and researcher.
Plan, formulate and execute an individual research project into a novel problem in the mathematical sciences.
