Subject to meeting prerequisites, students can do any unit of study offered in any of the specialisations listed above as an elective. Graduate Diploma in Economics students, however, may only count a maximum of one Finance unit, FINC5001, towards their elective requirements.
In addition, with prior written approval from the Director of the Master of Economics programs, it is possible to count a maximum of one unit of study offered elsewhere in the University of Sydney. Students wishing to do so must consult with the program director and gain approval in advance.
